Don’t panic! Take a look at the “USB” device icon on the bottom right corner, has your iPhone connected to the virtual machine? Yea, that’s the problem! You have to connect your iPhone several times during the while process. Just pay attention to that tiny icon, that’s it!

I have an quick answer for the “why not”: Just because 2 million phones already have Java.
You should remember the old time, few years ago, when everybody wanted his MP3 player to have more and more fancy features. Also at that time, iPod came out. “Sorry, We don’t have FM in iPod. What?”, but you’ve seen what happened.
