I’ve been waiting for World of Goo for a long time, now the Linux version of this game has been finally released!

In case you don’t know yet,
World of Goo is a physics based puzzle / construction game. The millions of Goo Balls who live in the beautiful World of Goo don’t know that they are in a game, or that they are extremely delicious.
World of Goo is such a game that you can play, your kids can plays, your parents can play and everybody can play!
Don’t wait, go to 2D BOY to download the game (try demo, or buy it for 20 bucks) and enjoy yourself in the World of Goo!
Linux 101 Hacks
I haven’t read it yet, but it seems a nice Linux book.
Here is the release announcement:
I’m happy to announce the release of my first Free eBook — Linux 101 Hacks. There are total of 101 hacks in this book that will help you build a strong foundation in Linux. All the hacks in this book are explained with appropriate Linux command examples that are easy to follow.

You can download the book from the author’s blog.
Chyrp
Ha, there is something new — Chyrp!
In short, Chyrp is a lightweight blogging engine. You may say we already have WordPress, why another one? Even though they both can be used to build your own blog, they are quite different technically. WordPress is so called publishing platform, but Chyrp is just an engine! If something were a platform, (to me) it should have battery included and there should be tons of features built-in to meet my basic or advanced needs. However, if it were an engine, I have to get all the parts I need and put them together before I could drive it onto the road. Therefore, you can see the two software are built by different purposes.
(If you are a Linux user and you know how the Archlinux/Gentoo is different from Ubuntu/OpenSuse, then you get the whole point.)
Poke around Chyrp’s website and try the demo, you may find yourself actually like such minimalist yet powerful approach to blogging.
I’m a PC and I’m 4 1/2
I’m definitely not a Microsoft fan, but this “I’m a PC” ad makes me feel warm in the cold season.
