Ubuntu 7.10, Gutsy Gibbon, will be released some time today and I cannot wait!

I know that there will be a big rush into Ubuntu’s servers at the time of the release, so I decided to download the CD image from a mirror site. I then went to the mirrors list, and surprisingly, I saw UW is in the list!

I don’t know how long it has been there, but I am quite sure it was not in the list when I was trying to download 7.04.
I followed the link and got into my school’s server and I clicked “gutsy”. Nothing is in the directory! Even the release candidate is not there. What a disappointment!
But, wait a second, I saw something was on the top of the page:
The release candidate is no longer available in order to allow the final release to be transferred to mirrors. Ubuntu 7.10 final will be released on October 18. Please check again tomorrow.
Ha, that’s what I want to see. So, I think I just have to trust my school and need some more patient.
